FEIS student scholarship

Description

The Erasmus+ EINFOSE project offers 10 student scholarships to cover the costs of travel and accommodation for attending the FEIS 2018 Conference, up to a maximum amount of 500 Euro.

Eligibility

In order to be considered eligible for the scholarship, the candidates should be enrolled in a university course (not necessarily in Information Science - IS) and be interested in pursuing a graduate or postgraduate (doctoral) program in IS at a European university. Preference will be given to students who will actively participate in the FEIS Conference (present a paper, poster etc.).

Application

Applicants should submit the following documentation:

  • a short CV (Europass);
  • a motivation letter explaining his/her reason to participate in FEIS 2018;
  • a confirmation of student status;
  • a short supervisor’s letter of recommendation (supervisor is considered any teacher with whom the student has worked on any project or extra-curricular activity, or attended classes).

Application: 21st May, 2018 (extended!)
Notification: 6th June, 2018

Scholarship

All applicants will be granted priority in FREE student registration to FEIS 2018. The successful candidates will be reimbursed their actual costs (up to the maximum amount of 500 €) to cover the costs of attending FEIS 2018, including travel (international and local transport) and accommodation. The reimbursement will be paid after the Conference, directly into the students’ accounts upon presentation of the required original documentation (receipts and invoices for travel and lodging).
